This arm is a Syntec broadcast arm, commonly supplied on Technics SP-10 Mk II and other broadcast quality turntables. The one in the auction has an L-shaped shaft and small weight missing, which makes it almost impossible to balance the arm and set VTF. I emailed the seller some info when this was listed a while ago, but he has not updated his listing - he's obviously more interested in selling the arm than he is in being honest. Although at $295, this arm will probably never sell. An identical arm, complete, sold a few days ago for $149, and even that price seemed a little high.I am using one of these arms (borrowed) on an SP-10 Mk II. It can best be described as "adequate". It works and sounds OK, but it has no cueing and no anti-skate adjustment. I'm looking forward to replacing it with a recently purchased NOS Sonus unipivot tonearm.
