That's the table I'm designing...slave driven! I will have 20 Oompa-loompas chained to a wheel with step-up gears to achieve either 33 1/3 or 45 RPM.

Althought the upkeep may be rather high...in our R&R, approximately 2 Oompa-loompas a day died from being overworked...we feel that the advantages of driving a 6,300 lb. platter will allow us to achieve very stable speeds. Start up remains a problem, however, and that is how we lost those Oompa-loompas. Although the speed of the drive wheel can be maintained quite easily, the huge amount of torque needed to get up to speed is something we expect to solve with the use of Martians we recently captured in Disneyland. These Martians are extremely strong, and easily managed as all they enjoy doing is riding the teacups. No deaths have been reported, yet they do tire easily, hence the need for the long working Oompa-loompas.

If you would like a table from us, and also need employment, we need slave drivers and are willing to trade to people trained to deal with Oompa-loompas.

Projected cost for our tables will be $7,986,324.00, Oompa-loompas included, along with 2 Martians. Replacement Oompa-loompas will be on $172,726.00; Martians, $34,921.00. Lifetime part guarantee!
