If the cartridge that it has is the one that it came with it is most likely a DL-60. I know nothing about the cartridge.The tonearm on the DP-45F is fairly lightweight and likes high compliance cartridges from what I've heard. Depending on how much money you are willing to spend, I bet the soon to be discontinued Shure V15VxMR would be a great match which retails for around $220 US. The Shure M97xE, and some of the Grado and Audio Technica cartridges are other cheaper options. I use a vintage ADC XLM on my DP-45F, and it sounds very good, but am thinking about upgrading next year because stylus supplies are dwindling.
