BK, you've had quite a traumatic time, and published a very fair review considering. From my own experience I agree with your summary, OL offers excellent sonics but dodgy Q/C and a slightly defensive attitude when problems arise. Caveat emptor.I had to laugh at this, "In the end, I discarded the Origin Live Loom, and made my own using a heavy duty paper clip, which worked much better!" I have a modded OL Silver and, quite by accident, added a mod to the mod using... a heavy duty paper clip! Oddly enough my paper clip has nothing to do with antiskating. What it does offer is adjustable VTF on-the-fly, perhaps the only Silver in the world with that feature.
