LO MC Phono Pre's Under 1k? Acoustic Sig. Tango or EAR 834P?

Hi all,
Monolithic PS-1 is nice, but not quite enough gain for new Dyna 20XL. I'd like something with at least 60db of gain, under $1000. Considering the Tango and EAR. Phonomena also a candidate, I guess. Used is not out of the question either.

TT is a Scout/JMW-9 into a Luxman R117 (ok phono stage, but Mono sounds better), Paradigm Studio 20 speakers.

Any and all advice is most appreciated.
