Help on setting up MMF-7

Hi, vinyl addicts.
IÂ´ve just recently purchased my very first high-end Â´table: a Music Hall MMF-7. Some hours ago I unpacked and assembled it. It looks beautiful. But straight to the point, IÂ´m afraid I have some cartridge misalignment or so. It Sounds great in low-bass and high freqs, but from time to time it has a slight gorrrrrrgle when some mid-bass notes are played (it is NOT on the recording, since I have listened to a lot on CD) What can be wrong?
Any comments welcome.
