Des provides an excllent description of the sonic attributes of the Jan Allaerts MC1 Boron II. I have heard this cart mounted on a Moerch DP6 tonearm and Scheu turntable. It is by far the most "musically involving" cart I've heard. I've sampled Jazz, Classical and some Rock in this setup. It was just totally natural - nothing stood out. The kind of experience where you give up trying to analyze its sonic attributes and just be enveloped by the music. I would very highly recommend a listen. I believe that the stellar Hi-Fi+ Review was justified.
