I was late to the Townes party. Took me way too long to discover him, but I was lucky enough to catch him once before he died. He was the warmup act for The Cowboy Junkies at a show in Dallas back in the day. An outstanding performance by both Townes and the CJ's. Their "Trinity Sessions" album was their current release, so lots of Margo, and lots of Townes. Fond memories of that show.
