The SAS was out of my price range. I wish I had bought one when they were a lot cheaper, but I agree it is a very viable choice. The conical is a real world experiment to see if there is any truth to Fulton's claims, and when I fully grasp the sound, I will be purchasing an elliptical or hyper elliptical to compare. If if find I prefer the conical, I will try to track down Jico's nude conical, but I will have to source it from Japan. I don't think anyone sells it in the US. I also have a few V15 IV.s. To my eyes the body is identical to the III, so whatever I like best my find its way to other turntables that I own.
