I have a system in which the volume level of one channel is reduced.

So, I use the headphones on the preamp, and it also has reduced volume on one side. So, I pull the preamp and the volume is balanced. I re-insert it and it is not balanced any longer.

Got my system all apart now, so I'll see when I reassemble it, what is causing the imbalance, I hope.
