Question for Dual 1229 and 1219 owners

I overhauled my Dual 1229 except the tonearm seven months ago , then went away for those seven months. The automatic functions worked fine before I left. I just returned and used the 1229 for the first time.

When I moved the start lever, the platter needed a little nudge to get going. Just after the tonearm reached the record edge, the platter slowly came to a stop. After moving the platter by hand again, the platter started moving and achieved normal speed. When the tonearm reached the runout, it raised but then came to a full stop. I manually moved the platter again, and the tonerm returned and the table came to a full stop.

I then removed the platter; cleaned the idler wheel, the inside rim of the platter, and the motor pulley with naptha instead of alcohol; checked the suppleness of the idler wheel; oiled the idler wheel bearing; cleaned and lubed the platter bearing shaft and rod; and used 10W Zoom Spout turbine oil on everything . The manual calls for 10W30 oil , but I figured straight 10W was okay for Washington state. The previous oil used was Amzoil 20W compressor oil with no detergent.

The result is that all automatic functions now work perfectly. Just checking what other Dual 1219/1229 owners use for lubrication of the parts mentioned above. Thanks in advance.
