I don't know what academics don't like about the Triple Concerto.

I have a fondness for the Choral Fantasy, another piece widely not taken seriously. It is from that utterly fascinating transition period between "middle" and "late" Beethoven, as well as feeling like a test run for the last movement of the Ninth.
