i moved to LA in 1970

i went HOME to Buffalo after separating from the USAF in 1969. my ex was living in LA at the time and didn't especially want to leave but LA wasn't home for me, i needed to go home. i went back to working at Bethlehem Steel in Lackawanna with my retained seniority, and even though i was making decent money i realized after about eight months, i had to go to the comfort of warmth in LA.

i gave notice and all my work friends thought i was FOS when i said i was leaving but POOF! i was gone in my 340 Duster to LA. one of my best decisions ever.
