I have to admit that I haven't played with Roon's Convolution capabilities. If I'm not mistaken (please fill in the blanks for me) I believe we first need room correction and a room correct file that Roon can read.

I have a good mic from miniDSP and played around very briefly with free software called REW - confusing as heck ! I believe there's a software only product from miniDSP not requiring their processor but I could be wrong.
