Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Lowe, Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, and Jim Keltner had a band for a bit.

Called it Little Village. Released only one album.
I had a CD copy years ago, but was disappointed in it. Didn't quite live up to the promise of the band's members.
One of the problems was that Hiatt is a recovering alcoholic and Nick Lowe likes to get partied up. From what I read, that caused a lot of tension.
Yep Roc does a good job with the reissues. I've got the 2-LP Jesus of Cool set, also Dig My Mood which has demo-quality sonics.
One of the oddities I found is The Old Magic. It's a 12-inch 45 rpm pressing with 11 tracks.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
