RE: Remember that New West sale posted here a couple weeks ago?

My New West order arrived on Saturday. Haven't had a chance to clean them up before playing but plan to do that today. I bought these:

Steve Earle - "Townes: The Basics". I also have his "Townes" LP.
Steve Earle and the Dukes (& Duchesses) - "The Low Highway".
Steve Earle and the Dukes - "J.T.". I also have the 24-96 FLAC download and really enjoy it so just had to get the LP version. :-)

I've been a Justin Townes Earle fan since "The Good Life" came out in 2008 and have everything he released, including his "Yuma" EP. It was really sad to hear the bad news that he's no longer with us. I first heard his music when my wife and I went into a small rural winery to buy a couple bottles of wine and they were playing this great music, so I asked about it. They pointed to some CDs on the counter and there was a small stack of "A Good Life" CDs. What was interesting is that they also had the typical display of smooth jazz, world music, and pop-classical CDs for sale at the counter but off to the side were these Justin Townes Earle CDs.
