Set up your anti-skate the way you want. Listen to it for a couple weeks. Disconnect the anti-skate, listen for a couple more weeks. Re-connect the anti-skate and listen.

If you hear a difference, you've learned something. If no difference, you've learned something else. In my case with a Hadcock 242 and Musicmaker, it sounded better without anti-skate, and still tracked very well. YMMV.
