RE: Is new vinyl any good? / need input

I think it is pretty good. Not sure if new release music isn't better on a CD. I got this nagging feeling that lots of the new music on vinyl I've bought recently would sound better on a CD - think I'm going to do a comparison.

And lots of new reissue vinyl is good too - sometimes even better than the originals but usually not, but often good enough to be considered a bargain compared to what a new or near mint original would set you back. On the other hand there are plenty of dogs out there so be careful.
