RE: Rega Planar 10 & Apheta 3, one month in

My first thought upon seeing your post was "Urrghhh, an expensive version of the "light and rigid table"! But hey, you went the way of mass, went back (sort of), and feel you're better off for it so more power to you. That you get it all in a compact package is sweet. I had a Rega (two of them, actually) and went the way of mass and couldn't think about going back. That Pro-Ject table doesn't seem like a slouch, especially as it doesn't have an acrylic platter as I first thought it did. Admittedly, no experience with acrylic platters but seeing how much static electricity the Rega dust cover would hold, I just don't like the idea of it. I wonder how much that ceramic platter plays in that good bass you're getting. Would love to hear that Apheta 3 as I still have and use the Rega arm. Anyways, glad to hear you're liking the new digs.
