Yes that is what gives me the opinion of too much bass

The screen shot is that of a .wav file imported into audacity, then generating spectral plot, after digitizing the LP using the Korg.

You mentioned another cartridge for comparison, have you done a similar frequency sweep with that cartridge, and what does it look like?
I didn't digitize this LP using the previous cart. However I do have some other LPs digitized using the previous cart, and I will now digitize them using the new cart, and do a listening comparison.

Man what a project this archiving has turned out to be! Between the ultrasonic cleaner, the new cartridge, the new phono preamp, various accessories, cables, etc. I am into it for close to a grand!

. I judge any sound system by how tiring it is to listen to.
