Molly Hatchet has some of the best album covers.
With the records you list plus Atlanta Rhythm Section, early ZZ Top and Alvin Lee's RX5 and maybe some Dave Edmunds as a sweetener, many days in the 70s and 80s where Southern rock was my playlist.
I venture to guess that almost 1/2 the new music I've bought in the last 5 years could be classified as some form of Southern rock.
