So I spinned an hour of my fav Billie Holiday album, "The Lester Young Story Vol. 2, A Musical Romance".

On these I don't hear " the deepest sadness and greatest despair" as Fremer wrote, just an excellent 1937-38 recording of the greatest musicians of the day.
