Yes I get best results by:
1 Brushing down with a Carbon Fibre Brush
2 Do a full Disc Doctor manual clean
3 Ultrasonic 10 Minutes in bath with distilled water, disc doctor solution and IPA
4 Vacuum off liquid with Record Cleaning Machine
5 Air dry then resleeve in new clean polylined sleeves.

The difference is phenomenal. Results are so good my local record shop gets me to clean his rare valuable second hand finds. Unplayable records have been brought back to life.
