RE: new AT OC9ZEN mc has excessive bass

thank you that's a help. I had the IFI Zen phono set for high output MC cart, but the AT 09 spec is .35 mv which is medium low.

I will try the medium level input. Probably won't change the spectral balance but worth a try.

All the 4 or 5 LPs I have digitized with this new cartridge seem way bass heavy to me. Something needs tweaking, just have to figure out what.
