Setting up an old Thorens for 45s

I'm setting up my Thorens TD 115 Mk II with a Shure M55E cartridge. I have found two stylus choices - https://www.jico-stylus.com/product/n44-7/ and
https://www.amazon.com/N-44-7-Improved-Replacement-Shure-Stylus/dp/B089KTXHJP/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2HNC8PMHDZLPJ&dchild=1&keywords=jico+n-44-7+dj+improved+replacement+for+shure+n44-7+n447+stylus&qid=1613748051&sprefix=shure+n-44-7+%2Caps%2C327&sr=8-5

the "improved" version will permit a higher tracking force - up to 4.5 g.

Many of my 45s are in rough shape - do you think I'd be better off with one over the other?

are there other choices I should be considering?

Thanks for any advice
