RE: My first... and last Milty.

The Permostat formulation definitely works; however endlessly transmitting whatever contaminants were being picked-up by the Milty Pad was surely a no-no.
I've tried (using 2x NOS later-type DuoPads) and couldn't obtain 'pop-free' results - though there was a silky-smoothness otherwise.
The 'buffing' also needs to be very thorough - another concern. Have a few c.1980 treated (nicely done) but the comment re sporadic 'pops' also applies.
From my experience 'Music Lovers' rarely did daft things to their LP collections - it's mostly 'Audiophiles' who engage in an orgy of wanton destruction!
