RE: Horrible feedback problem

Sorry for not being up to speed on the nomenclature. I generally consider a hum to be a continuous sound, which this is not by any means. It's a pulse of very low frequency. In any case. it only occurs when the stylus is in contact with a record. The Quintet is the only cartridge I've ever used in this table. It came preinstalled.

I will try touching the tonearm while the stylus is in contact to see if it has an effect. Thanks...
