I'm just blowing hot air when I say I plan to review classical music performances. I have had no musical training past the eighth grade, except for the ten years (1987-1997) playing electric bass in blues band here in town.
I have fallen in the pitfall of: I don't know jack about classical music except I like a certain amount of it and I know what I like. Generally considered a big mistake by educated people.
I started buying classical LP's in the eighties when people began dumping them for compact discs (perfect recording that'll last forever). I have been trying to read up some about HIP and the dangers thereof. Maybe I'll understand more in the coming months.
