RE: ultrasonic!

I knew immediately that I was not about to put as much effort into as Kirmuss says.

The procedure I've settled on is 2 five minute baths. I apply surfactant before each bath. After the second bath, I give them a spritz of distilled water rinse, then dry with the microfiber clothes. That's it.

Doing two records at a time I stagger them in the bath by a minute. I set the timer for six minutes, put in the first disc with surfactant applied, start the machine, then apply surfactant to the second disc and then add the second disc to the bath. After five of the six minutes have expired, I take the first disc out and begin application of surfactant to it, then start the subroutine over for the second bath. This way I can keep a continuous flow going. After ~16 discs, I take a break, let things cool down, etc. I usually never do more than 30 discs per or so depending on how dirty they are before changing bath water.

Results are the best I've ever gotten and considerably better than any scrub and vacuum process I've ever used. That includes Nitty Gritty & VPI.
