Audiophile test record: Pink Floyd Animals Dogs For the Dogs

Well, this may not be your first choice for an audiophile record to show off your stuff, but, let me tell you, when the dogs started barking in the song, Dogs, my dog, a 100 pound yellow lab perked up and started barking. I mean he sensed that the record barks felt real to him, which incited profuse barking. Every since I purchased my new Classic Audio T1.5 reference field coil speakers, it's been like that for lots of music, uncanny realism. I must say, I never heard the sound of the dog bark so pronounced before with my B&W 800s. My dog knows his audiophile stuff.

I now proclaim that if your system is up to snuff, you should be able to hear the dogs barking and the howling pronounced. To show off this feat, bring your furry friend into the listening room and play that song and see if your dog has a response during this track. The more pronounced the bark on your system, the more pronounced bark your pet will make. That's some serious audiophile stuff going on. Go ahead and do it, do it. (Starsky and Hutch)
