As long as you can accept a MC cart, of which the Ania is, then you should have no problems, assuming the pre has enough gain to support the Ania's output.

Other than that, the table itself is not difficult to match.

That said, What HiFi? is a poor choice for reviews.

Also, the Elys is not the best cart performance wise for the price it's sold at, at full retail.

I have the P6, got mine about a month before Ghostie got his and I run mine with a Muffsy PP4 phono pre into a NAD 7240PE receiver and some vintage ADS L810 speakers. Cart is the Grado Prestige Green 1, sounds very good but would do better with a better cart at the very minimum.
