RE: Fidelity Research FR64S

My B-60 base's (and the Ikeda equivalent) threaded pillar is 40.0 mm diameter. I used various coins to determine its the size for specifying my arm board (the US silver Eagle is 40.6 mm diameter). The stock FR64S base is much more lightweight and will be smaller; I think 30 - 31 mm sounds about right but I don't have one to confirm.

I don't do the 231.5 mm P2S thing. I do 230 mm, but you will indeed need to twist the cartridge slightly "toed in" towards the spindle (relative to the headshell) to hit Baerwald this way. This toe-in isn't necessary on my FR64fx @ 230 mm, btw.

I agree that the 64S makes the Koetsu cartridges (stones and RSP) sound much more vivacious. With the Blue Azule you should be very happy - enjoy!
