I do recall the pleasure of briefly meeting you and your wife in the UK at Bath at Ivan Kursar's small charity audio show a few years ago. Would you perhaps prefer I should deal with this via Ivan?
I suspect that it may need a new body as it appears that one of the mounting holes was drilled and tapped through part of the rock which was unstable. I had noticed a strange noise through the system and found that one of the mounting bolts was loose and the cartridge was vibrating in the headshell as it was tracking heavily modulated passages. I removed the bolt and discovered that the thread of the tapped hole had disintegrated and that a powder made out of malachite was packed into the mounting bolt's thread.
Anyway let me know how you think that I should proceed.
