Yes, you're on to something here. The Denon has no rake and therefore no SRA error. Set up is so easy, but some detail is sacrificed. I think many audiophiles don't bother to or don't know how to set SRA. Or they set the arm parallel to the disk, sometimes following a writer or equipment instructions. But a parallel arm will ordinarily not optimize SRA.
Love the Denons, and so easy to make better with replacement of the plastic housing. But like others I have moved on.
