the quote struck me because I am still running a shure v15 , mounted on a knock off of the SMe arm, voiced by the late J.A. Michell to sound as close as poxxible to the SME sound. Being in CAlifornia , I had JBL monitors instead of Tannpy 15', that got cone rot and were replaced with with way better $$$peakers. no headache in my future.
