According to Chandos' own website, which gives a track listing per side of the LP, this has both works on one LP. I think this is technically impossible so have queried it with them.
I have the recording as a 24/96 file and the dynamic range is stunning (especially in the Planets) thus making a single LP for both works even less likely if Chandos have tried to preserve as much of the dyanamic range as possible. Cutting sides of <44 minutes long would compromise this aspect alone!
The performances are either good ( Also Sprach Zarathustra) or one of , if not the, best on record (Planets) - certainly my top recommendation for anyone who hasn't got a version. Unbelievable playing from an orchestra whose personnel for the 2016 season (as per this recording) ranged from 13 to 19.
