I have a refurbished Systemdek IIX fitted with rewired Rega RD300 tonearm. I'm enjoying the Denon DL-103 mounted on the Rega arm with the signal fed into the SUT and then not Emotiva XPS-1 MM phono. The sound I'm getting out of that rig is pretty sweet to my ears.Recently learned that Systemdek IIX can be improved by ding some tweaks. Such as removing the fibre board base off the plinth, or replacing the wirewound resistor in the PSU with something a bit larger, which in turn will reduce motor noise. Things like that.
I am not familiar with the innards of that turntable, so I was wondering if anyone here may have a how-to manual (with pictures,. preferably)? I wouldn't want to damage this nice table, but at the same time am curious to hear whether any of those tweaks can indeed improve the already amazing sound?
