In the video clip "Dave Mason - Live At Sunrise DVD Bonus Footage" Dave is walking up to the loading dock at the Sunrise Musical Theater.
I'm standing there on the left with Richard Campbell and Johnne Sambataro (also in a white T-shirt).
In 14 months I found I wasn't really suited for life on the road. It takes a certain kind of person to put up with the rigors of the road.
Don't get me wrong, doing the shows was great but dealing with airports, living out of a bag in a motel room, every night being late night etc. wasn't my "cup of tea".
It was a great experience and I'm glad I did it but it's not the life for me.
I gained a lot of respect for the guys that spend years on the road. It's a tough life and a lot of hard work.
