I run two turntables, and two separate phono stages. Both have low-level 60 hz (?) hum that goes up and down with volume. No hum on any other inputs.
Output from each phono stage goes to either an Audible Illusions L1 or a Klyne SK6, hum is there with either preamp.
Clearly this seems to be a ground loop issue, but getting it with two different turntables etc.
One thing I notice is that if I remove the ground wire from the head amp on system one, nothing changes. But, if I remove the ground wire from the input to the phono stage in system 2, I get more hum...as you would expect.
There is a message there I suspect, I just don't know what it is.
Thoughts...suggestions?
