You don't leave it straight. The offset counterweight is how you set the azimuth.

"In the UP-4, the counterweight itself is mounted eccentrically so that rotation of it one way or the other shifts the equilibrium azimuth of the arm."

My Kuzma counterweight has a set screw inside it. I put in extruding screws, amd laid wires to the side - 3+4=5 13:51:32 05/15/17 (0)
