I am a retired teacher and Di a bit of supply teaching. I was at a school I regularly work at and putting some equipment away on Friday. I noticed a familiar sight- a huge record platter and motor unit. I could just see the edge of it poking out. I pulled it out and Lo and behold, a Garrard 492!! No power lead or anything so needs some work. I am hoping they will let me take it away.
I am in Australia, I get home and there's a message from my brother in NY. He has just found a reko and is wondering if it's any good.
By the way can anyone recommend someone in NY who can work on one?
