I gave up trying to find out what's happened...

To many of my friends and people who were instrumental in my life. I moved away from my childhood area some years ago and lived in Ocean City, MD for 10 years and Salisbury, MD for another 6 years.

All three of my children were raised on the Eastern Shore of MD. Two of the three returned there because it got into their blood. City life is something I grew up with but it never suited me very well. My mother used to say that I have two speeds, slow and stop.

That type of person does very well on the Eastern Shore of MD where there is room for living. If you like water sports, hunting, fishing or golf, you would love the Eastern Shore of MD.

Anyway...sorry to wander off topic,
After moving away for those years, when I returned I started to look up the people I lost touch with. It was depressing. So may of them passed away or ended up in situations that were very bad. It ended up ruining a couple of weeks of my life.

Finding out bad news about musicians in groups that I followed, hits me in a similar way. Time marches on and no one lives forever, but its hard when you read about so many of them day after day.

I guess it a reminder that I'm getting very old. Like I needed a reminder.
