A couple of questions about Linn Basik Plus tonearm

Question 1) Should there be any rattle/play in the bearings? I'm thinking no, but...

Question 1a) What tool would you recommend for unlocking the bearings so one might adjust them?

Question 2) Assuming the bearings are adjusted properly would this arm be adequate for a MC cartridge such as a Dyna 20x2 L or a Hana SL? (BTW, I have now had a chance to compare those two and can offer some insight.)
