RE: MQA, the messiah!

Seriously? Certain ADCs are known to introduce phase errors of a specific type into the data. It is apparent that if the nature of these errors is known, they can be undone by manipulation of the data subsequent to recording. That is the line, and it is both logically consistent and relatively simple.

All I know is that I heard several MQA tracks that had every bit of the natural ease of analog, played on something like a $2500 Technics DAC/amp.

A dcs stack pretty much does that too - at, what, $100K?

I don't have any MQA music and don't own an MQA DAC because I don't have any MQA music. But it does seem to me that there is something to the technology. Whether or not it goes somewhere, I have no idea. But there is a reason that digital always sounds either a little bit or a lot "digital" and this seems to meaningfully address that.
