The null points vary according to the formula used to calculate them. These formulae incorporate choices rather than any of them being correct in an absolute sense.
They all rely upon an averaging of minimum and maximum modulated grove radii across many discs. However such average radii also vary over time so the "snapshot" chosen some decades ago may now be incorrect for current pressings or where newer techniques like DMM mastering are employed.
I can only suggest that you either try several protractors and decide which alignment suits your ears best or go for one and just accept that it is kind of right and not bother further.
As for protractors related to specific TTs are concerned you will doubtless find that the turntable manufacturer will almost always have chosen from Baerwald, Lofgren or Stevenson and will not have created their own formula.
