I found the below comment on Audio Karma, but there are a few more if you want to bother with Babelfish translation of Japanese sites. One Japanese site is dedicated to the speaker and its modifications. I have partially translated that site, but all I will ever do is update the electrolytic caps in the crossover. Inmate Coner has made comments about the speaker on the vintage and speaker asylums. The woofer is definitely pleated.
