sandman, your appears to likely be made of metal. I still have my original Platter-pac (No. 700) for my remaining 45 collection from junior high. It is a sturdy fiber board with a textured paper cover. The numbered dividers look exactly the same.

I've never seen 45 adapters like those in metal before. Metal ones were spoked while full discs like yours were plastic.

So, what sort of hot wax treasures came in the box?
