RE: Looking for a 'deal' on a TechDas Air Force One...?

That turntable is both absurd, in complexity and cost, and beautiful at the same time. Who woulda thunk that playing a 5$ LP could involve the expenditure of so much moola on the player and so much thought and effort on the manufacturing?

My bet is that no one ever paid $105K for this turntable. Probably someone paid $50K or $60K for it while patting himself on the back for getting a "great deal". Could even be a reviewer. Then he saw something else he wanted more. So he's taking a $10K to $20K hit.
