It does have positives as a starter kit.Linear tracker, protected stylus, MM on a recognized fair starter, VTA issues with LP gauge/ thickness resolved, high density wood arm, great for student parties with alcohol,fits in small areas.
Cons the lack of isolation scares the rest of us. At least it is a belt drive but a ceramic bearing or did I misunderstand. Also the AT 95 a bit bright for me. Prefer the Shure 97
