...that I was living in Central America. My friend, who is a botanist and was working in the virgin rain forest, had invited my girlfriend and me down for a visit. We were so smitten that we moved there the following year.

The biggest challenge was what to do with my substantial LP collection. A family member solved that for me and took custody. I recorded choice LPs to cassette tape for the trip and spun those in lieu of vinyl. I had a nice boombox and a personal cassette player/recorder for sounds. I loved that boombox.

Still spinnin'...
